Helping Hand

Incorporated in 1955 by parents seeking services for their children with disabilities, the Helping Hand Rehabilitation Center today offers an array of services to approximately 400 children with mild to severe disabilities. The agency’s mission is to assist persons with disabilities achieve the highest level of independence possible through quality programs and service.

Services offered by Helping Hand include:

  • Children’s Services including early intervention; school for autism; speech/occupational and physical therapies, and parent support.
  • High School Transition Services which include developmental training services; work experience program, and afternoon and weekend recreation programming.
  • Adult Services which include developmental training; employment, and residential services.
